Bag Neck Sealer

A blue industrial bag neck sealer made of heavy-duty metal. It features a roll of green adhesive tape mounted on a white plastic spool at the back. The device has a vertical slot in the centre where a plastic bag neck is inserted to be taped shut. A white plastic safety guard covers the cutting blade at the front, labeled with "CAUTION" and "SHARP BLADE." The base is wide with pre-drilled holes for mounting to a surface

The Bag Neck Sealer: Efficiency in a Snap

A Bag Neck Sealer (often called a tape dispenser sealer) is a manual packing machine designed to airtight-seal plastic bags in a single, fluid motion. It is the gold standard for high-volume environments like bakeries, candy shops, and industrial parts warehouses.

How It Works

The process is incredibly simple, which is why it’s so effective:

  1. The Twist: You twist the neck of a plastic bag.
  2. The Push: You slide the twisted neck down through the central “V” shaped neck of the sealer.
  3. The Seal: As the bag passes through, the machine automatically wraps a piece of pressure-sensitive tape around the neck and trims it.
  4. The Result: A tight, professional seal that keeps contents fresh and prevents leaking.

Key Features

Pre-Drilled Holes: The base typically features holes so it can be bolted directly to a workbench or packing station.

Heavy-Duty Construction: Usually made of powder-coated steel to withstand constant use and remain stable on a countertop.

Integrated Trimmer: Most models include a secondary blade (often seen on the side) to trim off excess plastic from the top of the bag for a cleaner look.
